Detox Workshop | With Kanako Kobayashi

Author | DIAKADI Health Practitioner, Kanako Kobayashi

Purification, also known as detoxification, can help you remove natural toxins from your body and help maintain a healthy weight.  We are exposed to external toxins every day, including pollutants, pesticides, and chemicals.  Internally our bodies produce waste byproducts as a result of normal metabolic function.  Although your body is designed to rid itself of these toxins naturally, it can become overburdened.  Purification offers your body additional support to expel natural toxins and minimize your weight, which is important to maintaining your health and vitality.

WE Essentials | Thoughts and Self-Love

Author | DIAKADI Trainer, Jator Pierre

Thoughts

Your thoughts will have a profound effect on every aspect of your life.  This includes your health, your emotional state, your life path, and your ability to succeed.  Most people think about what they don’t want the majority of the time therefore drawing the very thing they don’t want towards them.  It would also serve us well to look into what our unconscious thoughts are and how they are creating our current reality.  It is easy to have a daily mantra of positivity, but if the unconscious records that play in your sub-conscious are opposed to your conscious thoughts of positivity then your manifestations will continue to be created by the unconscious.  Shakespeare said ‘There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so’.

12 Tips for Healthy Weight Loss and Wellness!

Author | DIAKADI Trainer, Polina Smith

Healthy Habit #1: Drink Water and Lots of It!

Drink at least half your body weight in ounces each day! Getting enough water is vital to helping the body flush out toxins and metabolize stored fat efficiently.

Helpful Hint: To help make sure you’re drinking enough water, keep a water bottle by your desk and drink from it at least once an hour.

Extra Bonus: Drink Clean Water! Paul Chek and others believe the chlorine found in tap water not only kills the bad bacteria, but also the good.  Instead, they recommend drinking water from a high quality water filter system, which can easily be installed into kitchen sinks. You can order a water filter at: Seagull Distribution

WE Essentials | Hydration

Hydration

It is a smart investment to purchase a high quality water filter.  Tap water contains unwanted chemicals, pharmaceuticals, bacterial pathogens and heavy metals. We recommend a reverse osmosis or carbon filter for both drinking and shower water. Bathing in tap water and breathing in the steam is harmful to your health. Chlorine will be absorbed through the skin and the steam vapor will go straight into your lungs.  This is why we stay away from chlorinated pools and hot tubs.  It is also a good idea to drink water or fluids that are room temperature, cold fluids must be warmed by your system before the body will uptake and hydrate you, drinking cold water will not keep you hydrated during your workout.
